Rebels Care: Because Every Kid Deserves to Play

Rebels Care is a support program of KC Rebels Youth designed to make sure money is never the reason a child can’t play. We know that sports save lives—by building discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a safe community around our youth.

Through Rebels Care we help cover:

  • Registration fees

  • Uniforms and shoes

  • Equipment and supplies

  • Transportation assistance (when available)

  • Small emergency needs that keep youth engaged and supported

Rebels Care exists so our young people can focus on being kids running, learning, growing, and dreaming while we stand behind them with love, structure, and support.

Apply for Support

We see you.

We believe you.

And we’re here to help.

Rebels Care is for:

  • Youth ages 4–18 participating in KC Rebels Youth sports (football, cheer, track, and future programs)

  • Families in the Kansas City Metro, with a focus on inner-city and underserved communities

  • Households facing financial hardship, housing instability, or other barriers that make it hard for their children to play

We prioritize:

  • Single-parent households

  • Families impacted by violence or community trauma

  • Low-income households and caregivers raising youth on fixed incomes.

Support looks different for every family. Rebels Care may include:

  • Sports Scholarships
Help with registration fees so youth can join or stay on a team.

  • Uniforms & Gear
Assistance with jerseys, cleats, practice clothes, and equipment.

  • Transportation Support
Limited assistance for getting to practices, games, and events (when funds allow).

  • Wellness & Violence Prevention Support
Connection to mentors, community resources, and programs that keep youth safe, engaged, and away from violence.

  • Family Support Connections
Referrals to partner organizations for food, housing, mental health, and other basic needs.

Support is based on available funding and may not cover all costs. We do our best to stretch every dollar to help as many families as possible.
